Eridan and Feferi are merchants of the troll kingdom, so their social status is quite high, almost on par with royalty in terms of wealth. They frequently travel to the human kingdom to trade and sell goods, and most of the time when Feferi is there to keep an eye on Eridan, at a decent price. Since they are the ones who get to travel most to the human Kingdom, Karkat often asks Feferi for information on the humans coughJohncough. So Feferi acquires information mostly from Jade since they get along pretty well, and a lot of gossip is shared, aka: embarrassing facts about John. Mako, Loki, feel free to add information. I’m pretty sure I forgot other facts that I can’t remember right now.
